Account Executive Position

Overview: The Account Executive supports the client services teams by helping drive the daily activities of projects, communicating with key internal personnel and managing any scope of work change, and alerting of timeline inhibitors to ensure high quality delivery.

Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities of the Account Executive:

Financial

  • Participates in the development of scopes of work and staffing plans
  • Assists in budget development and reconciliation of projects
  • Works within and manages to assigned and budgeted hours by job and position level
  • Maintains and/or exceeds minimum billable utilization percentages for position level

Support/Leadership

  • Assumes ownership role of individual projects and work flow
  • Accepts and prioritizes delegated assignments from senior account staff, and also proactively identifies internal and external needs that could put timeline in jeopardy
  • Go-to person in the absence of senior account staff
  • Well informed on the current situation of the brand and the projects currently in progress

Client Interaction

  • Participate in face-to-face client meetings
  • Engage with clients independently on small tactical initiatives but operate in a support capacity to the day-to-day account lead
  • Take responsibility for the consistent monitoring of active projects to the client

Strategic Knowledge

  • Firm grasp on agency tactics with the understanding of how they are used to support the client’s objective and goals
  • Solid understanding of product data and strategies

Communication Skills

  • Competency in written communication (proper client correspondence, scopes of work, tactical slides, competitive analysis) and confidence in discussing internally and to clients
  • Contributes to internal and external meetings with relevant insights, feedback, and probing questions and can influence team members
  • Takes a positive, collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Completes client contact reports

Education/Experience

  • 4-year college degree
  • 1 year relevant job experience preferably in the healthcare communications industry preferred

Account Supervisor Position

Overview: The Account Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of projects and will collaborate with internal agency stakeholders as well as outside vendors to define scope, timeline, and project process cost. The Account Supervisor will have client contact and will be responsible for ensuring that project deliverables meet time specifications, budget, and quality goals.

Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities of the Account Supervisor:

Team Role

  • Day-to-day leader of project team; proficient in project strategies
  • Oversee/Develop – meeting summaries and contact reports
  • Partners closely with all team members – regardless of department – to take responsibility for day-to-day workflow
  • Excels at problem solving
  • Team driver to leverage internal capabilities and maximize/streamline efficiencies
  • Focuses on goal setting for direct reports
  • Ensures that team’s awareness and adherence to established agency account procedures including client contact reports, status reports, and submission process policies
  • Teaches junior staff the appropriate protocols for business writing

Client Management

  • Maintains understanding of client needs and effectively communicates that to the agency teams
  • Proactively recommends and develops communication solutions where appropriate
  • Builds and maintains positive client relationships with a focus on achieving client’s marketing goals
  • Develops and maintains contact with clients to ensure that agency is aware of business opportunities and/or significant changes in client’s business structure
  • When possible, guides, advises, and assists account team in the development and presentation of new business proposals
  • Consistently performs well and is considered the pillar of the team

Financial

  • Provides accurate and timely product forecasts, manages quarterly reconciliations and billing; builds scopes of work with supervisor

Education/Experience

Associate Art Director/Graphic Designer Position

Overview: The Associate Art Director/Graphic Designer is responsible for developing designs and concepts across a wide range of media on multiple brands. This position reports to the Creative Director.

Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities of the Associate Art Director/Graphic Designer:

Team Role

  • Hands on execution of concepts and design for a full range of communications, including collateral, print ads, infographics, and presentations
  • Work with creative, copy, and production teams to understand client requirements and presentation concepts
  • Collaborate with broader digital team on websites, apps, mobile, and video asset development
  • Communicate effectively with on- and of-site teams to meet deadlines
  • Committed to adhering to brand standards and finding fresh, creative solutions

Skills

  • Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; PowerPoint and HTML a plus
  • Excellent design skills, including a highly developed overall design/concept aptitude as well as typography, color, photography, and art; ability to create custom illustrations or other graphic elements
  • Growing knowledge of print and digital production
  • Ability to review and approve proofs of printed copy and art and copy materials
  • Understanding of how to prioritize workflow and redirect agency projects to meet competing and changing deadlines, handle high energy situations, and deadline pressures

Associate Medical Editor Position

Overview: The Associate Medical Editor is responsible for editing medical marketing materials and ensuring that they are error-free, adhere to AMA style, and a client’s regulatory guidelines and commentary. In addition, the Associate Medical Editor may be responsible for participating in the submission process and contributing to the upload of materials onto web-based regulatory review and routing systems (i.e., Veeva, Zinc or other MRL submission systems).

Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities of the Associate Medical Editor:

Team Role

  • Participate in the content review process, reviewing content of each project for correct spelling, grammar, clarity, fulfillment of creative brief, correct client and AMA style, and appropriate and accurate referencing
  • Ensure all pieces are compliant with each client’s unique regulatory submission process and lead the submission process onto web-based regulatory review and routing systems
  • Edit for correct spelling, grammar, consistency, balance, appropriate tone and language, and content
  • Fact check material and assist Medical Writers with annotation of materials when necessary
  • Engage with Medical Writers, Account Teams, Creative, and other staff to ensure successful project completion
  • Represent editorial for assigned projects at internal status meetings

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Writing, Journalism, or a similar field
  • 2 years of editing experience in the healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry
  • At least 1 year of experience at a pharmaceutical marketing, medical communications, and/or medical education agency
  • Expertise in current AMA style
  • Ability to work within Microsoft Office suite of products as well as familiarity with editing in Adobe Acrobat Professional

Overview: The Group Account Supervisor is responsible for the internal and external strategic brand, product, team and client relationship. The Group Account Supervisor will drive strategy across all marketing segments on multiple brands, maintain effective client relationships and oversee talent development across the team while maintaining financial goals and meeting all metrics associated with this role.
